Learn the principles of Restorative Practices and how to begin implementing them in your school, classroom and community.

In Introduction to Restorative Practices (RP) you will learn the theory and principles behind the practices, why and when they are effective, and how to begin implementing them in your setting. Attending this workshop will enable you to begin utilizing these effective practices, increasing the access to and availability of RP in your unique setting.

In this Restorative Practices training, you will:

  • Understand the paradigm-shifting concepts and values of Restorative Practices

  • Learn to design and hold effective Circles to address the needs of your particular group

  • Learn how schools can shift from exclutionary punishments to relational and restorative approaches to discipline

  • Get support in implementing Restorative Practices in your community, school or workplace

This workshop is aimed at, teachers, administrators, SROs, other school personnel and anyone interested in creating positive change in their community. The format will allow participants to practice skills between sessions, and facilitators will be available to answer questions and provide support via email.

Pricing: $400 Regular Rate / $450 Supporter Rate / $300 Equity Rate 

Regular Rate - This is the standard rate for our workshops, that makes our work possible. 

Supporter Rate - This rate is for those with institutional funding or historical access to wealth. It pays for yourself and makes it possible for us to offer this work to those who may not otherwise be able to participate.

Equity Rate - This rate is for those who would not be able to participate at the regular rate due to systemic inequity.
